Financial Advisor - Kahului, Maui

Lane was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Hawaii with his parents in 1970. Lane's background includes 25 years in the financial services industry. He attended the University of Hawaii, where he attained a degree in business administration with a major in accounting. He served in the accounting profession in both the public and private sectors prior to entering the financial services industry. His financial services career started in 1987 with PaineWebber in Honolulu, and he transferred to the Maui office in 1990. Lane holds a general securities registration, a branch office manager's license, and insurance licenses in life and health and is registered to do business in several states. He has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation from fi360. He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. Lane is married to Irene, who also works at Commonwealth. They have five daughters and five granddaughters. In his spare time, Lane enjoys reading, golf, and traveling. In his spare time, you'll find him taking on challenging home repair projects and perfecting the art of making a good pizza.

Financial Advisor - Kahului, Maui

Elliot was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has been married to Barbara for more than 40 years and has three children (Eric, Brandon, and Charisse) and three grandsons (Kupono, Kamakani, and Kamahele). He graduated from St. Louis High School and the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in business management and economics. He started in the securities industry in 1978, joined PaineWebber in 1981, and then became the Maui branch manager. In 1984, he became the branch manager for all the Hawaii offices and remained manager until 2006. Elliot holds several licenses and credentials, including the Series 3 (Futures and Commodities), Series 7 (General Securities), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam), Series 65 (Investment Adviser) through Commonwealth Financial Network, branch office manager's license, foreign currency, and insurance licenses, including life, variable annuities, and variable life. He enjoys fishing, especially in Hawaii and Alaska, hiking, surfing, and spending time with his family.

Financial Advisor - Kahului, Maui

Brandon was born on the island of Maui, where he attended St. Anthony's High School before continuing his education at Chaminade University in Honolulu. He holds a BA in business administration, as well as a master's degree in business administration. Brandon has worked in the area of financial services for several years and holds a general securities registration with Commonwealth Financial Network®. In his free time, Brandon enjoys going to the beach and working in the garden. An avid cook, Brandon loves to cook for his family and close friends. 

Administrative Manager - Kahului, Maui

Irene was born in Tokyo, Japan. She lived in Germany, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia prior to moving to Honolulu. Irene started her career in the financial services industry in 1986. She was the operations manager of a competing firm on Maui when she met Lane in 1991. They did a "merger and acquisition" in November of 1991 and have worked together since 1992. Irene also has her general securities license in addition to insurance licenses for the State of Hawaii. Irene enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Financial Advisor - Hilo, Hawaii

David was born in Tripler Army Hospital because his father was a career Air Force enlisted personnel for over 20 years, traveling between Japan and Hawaii.  2015 makes 43 years with his wife, Judy Ann.  They have 2 children, Grant and Joanna.  David had spent 11 years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with Pfizer Laboratories after acquiring his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.  While seeking his MBA, David switched direction and entered the investment advisory industry by starting with PaineWebber.  He is a Jack of all trades, fixing everything around his home from carpentry to auto repair.  His current passion is taking care of Judy Ann, who suffers from the disabilities of Myotonic Dystrophy, a hereditary form of Muscular Dystrophy.

Client Relationship Manager - Hilo, Hawaii

Grant is the son of David Omura.  He has lived with his family on Oahu till 1991, moved to the Big Island together and has remained here since.  Grant has been in the retail industry with video game retailer GameStop for 15 years prior to joining his father at Commonwealth in Hilo.  During that time he managed at multiple location on the Big Island, training and developing future talent in Hawaii.  Focus was spent on customer and community relations, brand awareness, and training leadership/management skills which he brings with him to this industry.  He is working towards becoming a licensed broker under his father.  During his free time he likes to hang out with friends, either going hiking, video gaming, and attending pop culture or technology conventions once a year.  He is somewhat a foodie and passionate about exploring what the culinary world has to offer; going to culinary events whenever he can.
